I think it's necessary if they are to have a global group. I'd go as far as to say they should recruit from a wide variety of people, not just Asians. Since it is global/american it should be more diverse.

OK! NOW I GET IT! 😎... 2 music/entertainment companies merging into one so they can both have a Korean music label side AND an English music label side to completely be an international company...OK! Cool! Got it! 😎👍... I mean, DEMIAN is signed to an American music label (SONY MUSIC ENT...I think!) but is still K-Pop and amazing...So K-Pop is just trying to be everywhere at this point. That's the ultimate goal!...I think K-Pop is just really famous and some English companies want to have more fame and some K artist and English companies just want music to be music no matter where it's from and if it's good music, your on their label...no matter what language...So yeah, I just think in this case BigHit just wants anyone to enjoy good music and everyone to get along. 😎

Be careful Big Hit... These American music companies are not your friend. I know not all are like this but the majority is. They will use this as an opportunity to actually STUNT the growth of Kpop in the west and snuff you out because they feel threatened and BTS could very well be one of their targets because the fact is these American companies dont want their artistes to be outshined and BTS right now is outshining everybody. Dont take the bait Big Hit... there are other ways to do this. Sometimes, patience, slow and and steady is the way to go. We should all really pray for BTS. Things are not always as they seem guys. They will literally join with you to hinder you. Why are they all of a sudden interested in joining forces with KPop? Think about it... they say they wanna promote their artistes on weverse... that's basically their way of diluting kpop and furthermore, stats show that BTS has far more western fans than American artistes have ever had Asian fans. So what really is their motive here? Simple, to infiltrate and to cut off the impact of BTS... Those who dont think so, cool but it's the way these people think. You think these big American companies are happy that a Korean supergroup is completely overshadowing their artistes? And even being compared to the beloved Beatles? Do you think America is happy that Korea is the home of the biggest boy band in the world??? Come on people...open your eyes.

man, in today's day and age, this initiative is progressive. But as I was watching this video, I just kept thinking about racism and how it can cause a lot of hurt. Make sure the leadership of this enterprise is diverse and cognizant of racial issues. If you are going to hold auditions, then where you direct your advertisement is key; where (in terms of location, socio economic group, class, zip code) you recruit artist is key; and who the decision makers/judges are key. How you will address the virus of white supremacy is also a key because it affects everything and everyone. ✌🏽

I have a mixed feeling on this(positive & negative) . I just hope that members of the new group that will be formed will not Americans only but should extend to all races (global). I hope this is not to suppress K-pop industry specially artist from Big Hit. Considering what happened to Grammys. I hope that this partnership will turn out into a success ( coz I've never been wrong about my intuition 😢)

Idk how to feel about this tho. Don’t get me wrong this is a huge milestone for big hit and just the kpop community in general but vlive and weverse felt like a social media platform that western artist couldn’t disturb with all of their celebrity drama, something that was specifically reserved for the kpop community. Its kinda like that feeling when your at a party with all of your friends but someone toxic shows up and kills the whole vibe... I got news from my doctor and said my cancer is getting worse. I will die within 48 hours. Thank you so much BTS for learning me how to love myself, how to get up and fight during the darkest times, to always make me smile and brighten my day with your crackhead personality’s, overcoming my depression bc of you, overcoming my anxiety bc of you. Thank you for making me realize I am worthed. Thank you ARMY for always comforting me during many many hard times, always being there for me, always sending me firtul love, for understanding my humor, for always making me laugh with your memes, for always making my day better, for loving me more than the people around me, even though we all live around the world apart from each other. From the day I became an ARMY I promised I would love BTS till my last breath, and I kept my promise. I am proud I can die as an ARMY. Thank you so so much BTS and ARMY for making such good memories with me. And yes, I know BTS will break much more records and take over GRAMMYS and the WORLD. I am so proud of them.
